A GREAT BIG HOMELAND THANK YOU TO ALL THAT ADOPTED OUR COCKALIERS AND SCHNAUZERS! They went so very fast and as it turned out it is such a shame we did not have more to share with new homes. We really appreciate the families that did get our babies and know you will have many years of love, companionship and joy from these little ones. We went many weeks with no Cavaliers available, then Bingo, several at one time. Currently we have a good selection to choose from, but hurry they are going fast! Cavalier King Charles Spaniels
Cavalier King Charles Spaniels are "Dogs Fit for Kings"
and have been popular in the United Kingdom for many centuries.
In fact, the name was given because a Blenheim-coated spaniel was the family pet of King Charles I.
King Charles II went so far as to issue a decree that the King Charles Spaniel
could not be forbidden entrance to any publc place,
including Parliament and the story continues that this is still the case today.
Cavaliers have become a favorite of many well known people; King Charles I, Mary Queen of Scots,
Queen Elizabeth I, Queen Victoria, Mrs Nancy Reagan, Diane Sawyer, Mr & Mrs Frank Sinatra,
Lauren Bacall, Sylvester Stallone (reportedly has 3 Cavs), Courtney & David Arquette and many many more,
as folks realize all the traits of the "perfect house pet."
"Cavs" are extremely affectionate, loving, loyal and intelligent.
They are real "people kids", they are patient and very eager to please.
They also have the reputation of being the ideal lap dog.
"Cavs" are great with children and other animals.
