"Where Royalty Reigns" Cavalier King Charles Spaniels are "Dogs Fit for Kings" and have been popular in the United Kingdom for many centuries. In fact, the name was given because a Blenheim-coated spaniel was the family pet of King Charles I. King Charles II went so far as to issue a decree that the King Charles Spaniel could not be forbidden entrance to any publc place, including Parliament and the story continues that this is still the case today. "Cavs" are extremely affectionate, loving, loyal and intelligent. They are real "people kids", they are patient and very eager to please. They also have the reputation of being the ideal lap dog. "Cavs" are great with children and other animals. The trademark of a "Cav" is the tail wagging, which so obviously demonstates their attitude. So, lets "Wagg" thru the pages of this site and find the ideal "Cav" for you and your family!!!! L.D. and Molly Kirk |
